VFW Pacific Areas, District 1 elects, appoints new officers

OKINAWA CITY , Japan (April 5 , 2007) -- VFW Pacific Areas, District 1 has elected and appointed new officers for 2007 during a district-wide meeting held April 3 at Awase Meadows Golf Course.

The new officers are:

District Commander -- Stan Stewart

District Senior Vice Commander -- Howard H. Schell

District Junior Vice Commander -- William T. Brandon

District Quartermaster -- Dennis E. Provencher

District Advocate -- Terry T. Shoemaker

District Chaplain -- Gary E. Harper

District Surgeon -- Dwayne P. Ash

District Trustee 3-years -- James Terry

District Trustee 2-years -- John C. Wilson

District Trustee 1 year -- Keith F. Mills

District Services Officer -- Larry V. Alsop

District Adjutant -- George Cabrera
