Local VFW members to talk on AFN Radio April 13

OKINAWA CITY , Japan (April 4 , 2007) -- Three members of VFW posts in Okinawa are scheduled to be interviewed April 13 at 9 a.m. on AFN Radio FM 89.1.

The purpose of the interview will be to help raise awareness within the military communities in Okinawa about the weekend Buddy Poppy distribution on April 14 and 15 at Kadena and Foster.

VFW members will also be able to explain what the organization does for the military community in Okinawa.
