• Voice of Democracy Essay Contest (High Schoolers)
• Citizenship Teacher of the Year
  • Open to all teachers who teach citizenship at least part of each teaching day.

• Outstanding Security Forces Member of the Year
• Outstanding Emergency Medical Technician of the Year
• Oustanding Fire Fighter of the Year

• Memorial Day ceremonies
• Independence Day ceremonies
• Patriots Day ceremonies

• POW/MIA Recognition Day ceremonies

Community Service

• Visits to hospitalized Post 11435 members.
• Assistance for spouses of Post 11435 members during hospitalization.
• Transportation of spouses of Post 11435 members when necessary.

Memorial Services

• We attend memorial services for all deceased Post 11435 members.
• When needed we make a financial donation to the widow/widower from the VFW Relief Fund.
